Luxor is a must for any visitor, the city is full of temples, tombs and monuments that will take your breath away.  Pick up is approx. 05.30 and you’ll reach Luxor at approx. 09.30, there will be an opportunity for a rest stop en route.  The drive itself is very interesting, you’ll be driving through small villages where the standard transport is a  donkey or tuktuk.

You’ll meet your English speaking guide upon arrival and head to the magical Valley of the Kings and enter 3 tombs.  The valley is known to contain 63 tombs and chambers.  Tutankhamoun tomb is an optional extra and extra charge will be arranged on arrival.

We then move onto the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and a quick visit to an Alabaster factory before stopping at the Colossi of Memnon.  These two huge stones are statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep II and have stood for 3000+ years.

We will enjoy a leisurely lunch cruising down the Nile before ending our day at the Karnak Temples.
